To hell with your prejudices about Viking techno modern times, the 90s are over: back to the future. Then exit the stridentviolenceof Gesaffelstein and cast the spotlight on the latest and current French techno scene. All too often reduced to a repetitive nature and marginalized in the violence of itssirens, techno is a musical style that has divided the audience for many years. Some young producers however are still working and trying to break the codes to raise the profile and restore this often overlooked music genre. Their productions are based on a more melodic side. Romain Poncet is part of these talented young producers. A passion for music and sweet notes, he gives techno what it has lacked for some time: a soul. Better known under the stage name “Traumer” he is signed to the prestigious French label Skryptöm and has built his world around several inspirations. The result is a mix of techno, deep house with a melodic accent for a musically ensured flavour.

 

 

Romain has a taste for well done things and we can feel that when listening to his productions. Listening to his latest EP “Innocent” released with Ventura Records, we retain above all the elegance of this guy. This skill withwhich he uses and mixes with the success of the haunting technoand thrilling freshness of deep house,produces something carefully balanced. A special mention to the track “Two Heads”, which demonstrates the ease and facility of Traumer’s production, this track moves wisely and tastily and in the end we melt in the mouth on a jazzy air. “Innocent” is undoubtedly one of the gems of the moment, the kind of release we would like to see blossom daily.

 

Romain Poncet may be young but he knows how to trust the right people and surrounds himself in that company as he should. The result of collaborations with different video directors for the release of his latest EP reflects excellent control of his image. In the making of the video Innocent we see the duo Julien Soulier & Adrien Landre. An epic battle between two old gentlemenin search of the Holy Grail. For Slow Run, Romain uses the talented Elisabeth Vogler, a gamble but a success with an introduction in the clip that would almost serve as a short film. The visual work is accompanied by a lot of work around storytelling. Slow Run is evidence of this and with none other than himself Romain Poncet acting on all fronts, leads to his music being played onscreen. Popular, but never vulgar, the videos are never over the top. A balancing act in which Romain is used to achieving in his production.

 

 

With Traumer, you feel the desire to democratize the genre. Both in its production and in its video clips, Romain Poncet has built a world in which he sees his music accessible to all.

You have received your order but the product does not suit you?

The items must not have been worn, washed or damaged and must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

How do I return my package from France?

Return shipping from France is free via Mondial Relay.

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

  4. Indicate the reason for the return at the bottom of the order details and click on “Request a return”. You can track your return request in the “Returns” section of the “My purchases” section.

  5. Once your return request has been validated by our team, all you have to do is stick your pre-paid label (provided at the time of delivery) on the package, insert the completed returns form in the parcel and drop it off at a Mondial Relay point.

International return packages are at the customer’s expense (including cost of shipment by the chosen carrier, customs & duties, taxes, etc.)
