Hiroyuki Izutsu is a Japanese illustrator based in Tokyo, originally from the province of Kagawa, known as a very active area for art in Japan. Although he has worked mainly in advertising, he started working in the publishing world after designing the cover of a best-selling book. His main motifs are people, landscapes and flowers, which he creates in watercolour and on the computer. Alongside his artistic activities, he is also a lecturer at "Illustration Aoyama Juku" in Tokyo and at Yokohama University of Art and Design.
