JEAN MALLARD
A fan of Moebius and Miyazaki, Jean Mallard quickly fell into drawing. Trained at the Paris School of Decorative Arts, he developed his style around comics, cartoons, screen printing and engraving, while retaining the gouache and watercolour that have followed him since childhood. He creates infinite worlds through a melting pot of inspirations, ranging from popular Russian painters to Indian miniatures, via Japanese prints and the illustrations of Douanier Rousseau.
