ISAKIN, la confiserie textile de Barbès

Quand je suis allé chez ISAKIN , il y a quelques semaines, une voiture utilitaire a défoncé la barrière à un pas de la vitrine du shop, et à quelques mètres de l’école maternelle… Pour la petite histoire, un pot de confiture qui traînait dans la caisse a roulé et est venu se coincer sous la pédale de frein. L’histoire bête… C’est dans ces conditions assez rocambolesques que j’ai fais connaissance avec les très sympathiques tenanciers de cette nouvelle boutique parisienne.

Entrevue donc chez ISAKIN, en plein cœur de Barbès

 

Pour commencer, question à la con, mais pourquoi  vous avez décidé d’appeler le shop ISAKIN ?

Isakin ne signifie rien , c’est un nom abstrait…On aime bien la consonance une peu africano-asiatique

 

Quel est votre parcours avant la création du shop ?

Thomas:  Un parcours musical au sein du groupe Octobre Rouge, et puis dans le textile  avec ma société P21 où je faisais de la distribution ou/et du marketing pour de nombreuses marques (NEW ERA, OBEY, MISHKA, DISSIZIT, KEEP,QHUIT etc…)

Alex: D’abord activiste dans la scène skate parisienne en tant que pratiquant et graphiste puis  j’ai réalisé l’artwork de projets musicaux(Ministère Amer, 113, Arsenic , Oxmo Puccino etc) au sein de 360 communication  par la suite.

 

S’implanter à Barbès est à la fois inattendu et respectable, pourquoi ce choix?

Thomas: C’est un quartier que j’ai toujours côtoyé étant originaire du 19ème et habitant depuis 8 ans dans le 18ème..Il est , vivant, coloré , on s’y sent bien et on est seul à y faire le genre de produits qu’on vend …on emmerde personne et inversement..

Alex: L’aspect multiculturel du quartier est important …la proximité de Montmartre l’est aussi.

 

Qu’est ce qui vous a motivé à bosser OLOW ?

Thomas: On a connu OLOW par Christophe Chabaud qui bossait en tant qu’agent sur la marque KEEP , que je distribuais dans P21. J’ai ensuite rencontré Mathieu avec qui le feeling est bien passé…On aime bien la fabrication européenne et les prix chez OLOW.

 

Avez-vous d’autres projets en parallèle?

Notre marque ISAKIN …les premiers protos sortent, on est super content..et une collab avec THOMAS V, bijoutier du 17eme arrondissement qu’on vend dans le shop

 

Pour finir, un ptit coup de promo pour un autre bon magasin parisien ?

Thomas: Les shops dans lesquels je rentre et je suis sûr de ressortir avec quelque chose ne sont pas à Paris mais a Toulouse..les 2 friperies de la rue peyrollieres, GROUCHO ET KILOSTOCK..les meilleures de France de loin… que ce soit en sportswear , militaire , workwear ou même années 60 70, les gars mettent à l’amende les friperies de Paris d’une grande longueur…

You have received your order but the product does not suit you?

Until Christmas, take advantage of free exchanges and returns for 60 days. 

The items must not have been worn, washed or damaged and must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

How do I return my package from France?

Return shipping from France is free via Mondial Relay.

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

  4. Indicate the reason for the return at the bottom of the order details and click on “Request a return”. You can track your return request in the “Returns” section of the “My purchases” section.

  5. Once your return request has been validated by our team, all you have to do is stick your pre-paid label (provided at the time of delivery) on the package, insert the completed returns form in the parcel and drop it off at a Mondial Relay point.

How can I return my package (International online returns)

International return packages are at the customer’s expense (including cost of shipment by the chosen carrier, customs & duties, taxes, etc.)

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

Refunds will be made within 10 days of receipt of your items and automatically to the account associated with the credit card used for payment or to the Paypal account used for payment.

Is it possible to return my item in the shop?

No, for all internet orders, returns can only be made to the address mentioned below.</p
