La Cave – Shape Room

Nombreux sont les projets qui ont vu le jour dans des garages insonorisés , des chambres bordéliques d’ados boutonneux, voir même des caves humides. Thomas Lodin, l’un de nos photographes, accompagné de ses comparses Adrien Ballanger et Paul Legrix, ont décidé de créer il y a quelques mois une « Shape Room » dans la cave de leur immeuble à Nantes. 

 

 

Salut les gars,

Est-ce que vous pouvez vous présenter ?

Paul Legrix, 78ans, aime les speedos jaune fluo mais n’aime pas trop les sandwichs à la fraise.

Adrien Ballanger, 21ans, roux, aime l’originalité.

Toto Lolo, 20 printemps, aime bien faire joujou avec son appareil photo.

 

Tous les trois dans une école d’arts graphiques à Nantes et accros aux petites glissades sur les vagues !

 

Comment vous est venu l’idée de faire votre propre atelier de Shape ? Qu’est ce qui vous a motivé ?

La première raison est sûrement financière, une bonne board c’est un bon budget ! Du coup, après avoir vu le travail de shapers locaux, on s’est dit pourquoi pas. Adrien et Paul avait eu la chance de côtoyer de près des shapers, et réalisé quelques planches du coup ils connaissaient un peu le truc et additionné à une envie de tester de nouvelles choses, expérimenter et se lancer dans l’aventure et bien l’idée était née !

Ils ont en plus la chance d’avoir une cave avec leur appart’, du coup, un petit déblayage, deux néons à mi hauteur et un stand en bois pour poser le pain de mousse (d’ou résultera la planche) et c’était prêt !

Dit comme ça, ça à l’air simple mais on a galéré, faut pas croire…

 

Hormis le fait que l’endroit est assez exigu et confiné, c’était quoi le plus compliqué dans cette aventure?

La saison… On avait pas pensé que faire une planche en hiver au fond d’une cave c’était pas terrible… Pas de chauffage, de l’humidité et bien sûr le froid… Pour les produits chimiques et le séchage c’est pas terrible…

 

Le résultat à l’air vraiment au bon, vous avez déjà testé la planche ?

Bon…peut être, ça s’annonce bien mais c’est du rock’n’roll quand même, c’est pas parfait parfait ! Pour l’instant, la planche reste au chaud dans ma chambre pendant un mois pour qu’elle sèche bien à coeur ! On verra dans un mois si elle flotte… héhé

 

Vous êtes sur un paquet de projets en parallèle, entre autres Sorry Mom, Corruption Concept… Pouvez vous m’en dire un peu plus ?

Haha, oui c’est chaud de tout coordonner ! Je gère de mon côté le site Corruption Concept qui est un site d’actus/de reports autour des sports de glisse (BMX, Surf, Longskate, Wakeboard….etc) autour de la région nantaise et au gré des road trip ! Du coup pleins de photos, un peu de texte et quelques vidéos du coin (avec entre autres celles de mon pote Julien Léger/Light Media) ! Le site c’est : www.corruptionconcept.com

 

Et puis Sorry Mom c’est tout nouveau (depuis Avril dernier exactement) ! Pour le coup, c’est Adrien qui a eu l’idée de ce petit web-zine orienté dans les mêmes attirances que Corruption (même si le BMX l’intéresse moins…mais je lutte pour garder ce coté là). On fait donc ça à deux, ça nous fait bosser la mise en page, les photos et tout ce qui tourne autour de l’édition d’un magazine. On a déjà sorti deux numéros visibles sur la plateforme issuu.com et le troisième sort dans les jours prochains !

Pour finir, quel est le breton qui a sifflé la bouteille de Breizh Cola et de Cidre qu’on voient dans la vidéo ?

On a bien rit en lisant cette question, car celui qui à sifflé à lui tout seul (et c’est vrai) ces deux bouteilles est vraiment breton et c’est notre Paul (le petit barbu au bonnet qui vient de Quiberon !). Haha

You have received your order but the product does not suit you?

You can return your products within 15 days of receiving your package, for any order.

For the festive season, the deadlines are extended to 30 days.

The items must not have been worn, washed or damaged and must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

How do I return my package from France?

Return shipping from France is free via Mondial Relay.

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

  4. Indicate the reason for the return at the bottom of the order details and click on “Request a return”. You can track your return request in the “Returns” section of the “My purchases” section.

  5. Once your return request has been validated by our team, all you have to do is stick your pre-paid label (provided at the time of delivery) on the package, insert the completed returns form in the parcel and drop it off at a Mondial Relay point.

International return packages are at the customer’s expense (including cost of shipment by the chosen carrier, customs & duties, taxes, etc.)
