UKNW SOUNDS : Grooveman spot

Appelé à la rescousse pour présenter des découvertes musicales ! J’ai répondu présent de bon cœur. Le mot d’ordre était plus que simple ! Nico, il nous faut des mecs qui font de la musique cool, qui viennent du trou du cul du monde, bref des trucs un peu hors des sentiers battus…. T’as carte blanche sur les styles musicaux, tant que ça fait jouir nos tympans.

 

Pour ma première, je me suis dis que fallait que ça soit du lourd ! Je suis tombé sur un petit Ninja qui envoie le pâté (encore plus qu’un pâté de campagne bien odorant, posé avec vigueur sur du pain bien grillé un lendemain de cuite)

 

 

Grooveman Spot aka DJ Kou-G nous vient du pays du soleil levant. Membre d’un des plus gros labels de Hip-Hop/electro japonais Jazzy Sport, il se lance dans la musique dès 1996 en tant que beatmaker dans un groupe de rap, Enbull formé avec U-Zipplain, LA réplique officielle asiatique de Eminem.

 

Mais cela ne lui suffit pas et en 2006, après s’être fait remarqué avec un remix de Dj Mitsu, il nous lâche son premier album « Eternal Development » qui le fera sortir de l’ombre. Pris dans l’euphorie, j’ai continué à fouiller dans la scène nippone, et j’ai pu constater que le Japon possède des producteurs de très haut niveau, et Grooveman Spot fait parti de ceux là…

 

Depuis son premier album, trois autres sont sortis dont le dernier, « Paradox » qui date de fin 2012. Très marqué par le hip-hop US de Pete Rock, DJ Premier et Gangstarr, ce mec est réellement un producteur doué, dont les recherches au plus profond des catalogues de jazz et de soul offrent des moments de gros trips auditif. Dès les premières notes de l’album, tu tombes dans une espèce de profondeur et de chaleur assez déroutante et puis tout y passe : du rythme Hip-hop aux touches Funk et samples Soul

 

J’espère que ce ptit bridé fera kiffer les fans d’électro expérimental ou de Downtempo (Putain faut que j’arrête de me la raconter avec ce genre de mot)

You have received your order but the product does not suit you?

You can return your products within 15 days of receiving your package, for any order.

For the festive season, the deadlines are extended to 30 days.

The items must not have been worn, washed or damaged and must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

How do I return my package from France?

Return shipping from France is free via Mondial Relay.

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

  4. Indicate the reason for the return at the bottom of the order details and click on “Request a return”. You can track your return request in the “Returns” section of the “My purchases” section.

  5. Once your return request has been validated by our team, all you have to do is stick your pre-paid label (provided at the time of delivery) on the package, insert the completed returns form in the parcel and drop it off at a Mondial Relay point.

How can I return my package (International online returns)

International return packages are at the customer’s expense (including cost of shipment by the chosen carrier, customs & duties, taxes, etc.)
